Taco Salad
It's Taco Tuesday! This is so easy to make! It's my low carb version of Taco's and gives my salad amazing flavour!
- 1 lb lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 head romaine lettuce chopped
- 1/2 jar salsa
- 1 bag Shredded Monetary Jack cheese
- 1 can sliced black olives optional
- sour cream
- taco seasoning (I made my own healthier version)
Brown lean beef or turkey until cooked through and drain.
Place back in fry pan and add taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water and heat until mixed, about 10 minutes.
Place lettuce on plate or bowl top with tomatoes, avocado, olives, salsa, meat, cheese and a dollop of sour cream.
