Sugar-Free Keto Cake

Everyone wants to be able to have their cake and eat it too, right? Well now you can with Keto friendly Sugar Free Cake!

Sugar-Free Keto Cake Recipe

This is so delicious and it’s guilt free! I made this today and topped it with Peanut Butter Buttercream Icing (which is also sugar free). It was a match made in heaven and fits my Ketogenic diet perfectly. This is a great choice for anyone following a ketogenic, low carb or low sugar diet. It’s also great if your child wants a birthday cake and they can’t eat sugar.

I would always make the icing with it as I feel the cake ”˜needs a little something’ without the icing.

It is made with almond flour and coconut flour. You can buy these low carb alternatives to regular flour almost anywhere these days as they have become quite popular. I also used Swerve instead of sugar which is awesome for baking with. Swerve can also be bought almost anywhere as it has become a popular no-sugar choice for baking.

This was a hit in my house and I will definitely be making it agin. It was simple to make and the icing was super quick as well. overall I was quite happy with this recipe. I hope you enjoy it too.

It says one serving of cake, is that the whole recipe as one serving for only 2.6 carbs?

I’m confused. How many servings are in this cake? 2.6 carbs is how much cake?

Hi. Gorgeous chocolate hit. I found it a tad heavy, so added 3 tbsp of coconut yoghurt. Result was awesome. What is your topping?

Hi sounds like a great recipe. Quick question do you have to use the coconut flour or can you just double the almond flour to substitute?

It’s better to use confectioners, especially for icing.

You are right the taste is great, but very dry. I even frosted it with butter cream frosting….again tasted really good but still dry. I didn’t have powdered Swerve for the frosting so I ground it in my spice grinder, still slightly gritty. BUT, I will eat it!! lol
Will try it again and not bake it quite as long and use powdered Swerve in the frosting.

This cake is absolutely wonderful! However I do agree the cooking time is too long, for my oven anyway. The first one was definitely too dry but for the second try I cut the cooking time back to 20 min it was still a little under done right out of the oven but 10 min on the counter and it was moist and perfect 👌 this is still my favorite keto cake recipe by far! That frosting is amazing reminds me of a reeses!! This is a wonderful recipe!! Thank you so much this definitely saved me!

I did experiment a little I read where another blogger unintentionally left her batter (made with almond flour) sitting for 30 min before she remembered it and baked it. She said it wasn’t as grainy she actually tried 2 more cakes one she put right in the oven (it came out grainy) and the other she intentionally left sit again and again it was not grainy and delishious! I tried it with this recipe and it worked!!! If you can stand to let it sit for 20-30 min it sure helps the texture! Thank you for this amazing recipe I made this for my birthday for me and a cake made with sugar fur my family. I had to guard this cake! Everyone wanted it!! 😂
