Sugar-Free Buttercream Icing

This sugar-free buttercream icing is super simple to make! Only three ingredients and one step and then you’re done! Not mention that it’s delicious!

This is a great recipe for anyone that loves peanut butter. This icing is really smooth and so delicious! It’s great if you don’t want your kids eating a lot sugar and you can use it for any dessert. If you are on a ketogenic, low carb or sugar reduced diet it is the perfect answer for a sugar craving. Great for diabetics as well.

Sugar-free Butter cream icing goes great with Keto Cake as it contains no sugar as well and the two flavors are amazing together. This was definitely a hit at my house! Would also make a great birthday cake that is sugar free and guilt free!

I used Swerve in this sugar-free buttercream icing recipe because it’s a great alternative to sugar. Swerve is a combination of erythritol and oligosaccharides* that looks, tastes and measures just like sugar. It’s great for baking, has zero calories and (according to their website) is safe for diabetics.

Once you understand the benefits of ketones and the problems that glucose (aka SUGAR) addiction can cause – you’ll never want to go back to putting that crap in your body. Ketones help regulate hormone levels, and balance the normal functions of our bodies on a metabolic cellular level. Where would you like to see improvements in your health and wellness? First suggestion, take a look at the foods you are consuming… it’s not fat that makes you fat – it’s the carbs and sugar that reek havoc on our system.

*Oligosaccharides are sweet, non-digestible carbohydrates extracted from fruit and vegetable sources. They are similar to fiber and can help stimulate beneficial bacteria in the large intestine.

I have never heard of it. If its low carb and low sugar it should be ok.

I don’t see why not, once the water is added it is essentially peanut butter.

So it IS just peanut butter, swerve, and butter correct? Making it now and mine is a completely different color. Making sure it’s not supposed to have cream!

It may be obvious to some/most, it wasn’t to me, but I think you should note to use confectioner’s “sugar”.
