I peel the boiled eggs using a teaspoon. Works like a charm! Just crack one end and use the spoon to take the peeling off.

Just prick one end before boiling and the peels practically jump off themselves.

I know this works! I actually prick the end of each egg. Stand that end down on a circular rack (came with an electric egg cooker long gone) put 1/4″ cold water in bottom of pot, set on stove at high heat, time for 15 min, ,remove. and immediately run cold, cold water with ice cubes into that pot, Remove eggs, peel easily! or store in frig until you need ’em! No more cracked, open eggs!

I have an egg pricker, but I’ve never used it. I think it’s from Tupperware and was meant to prick eggs being done in the microwave. Never heard of pricking them before boiling.

Older eggs work best. Most eggs bought in the grocery are older eggs.

The baking soda has worked before with store bought eggs. It does not work with fresh eggs we are now getting from our chickens. I will try this method and hope it works. I hate boiling eggs now because they are impossible to peel. Hope this works.

I steam…get pan filled with about an 1.5 inches of water. Sit steam basket in pan..put lid on..turn up heat get water boiling. Remove lid put eggs in basket..lid back on. Turn timer on to 12 min. Turn heat down to medium…when timer goes off..turn heat off…remove eggs to ICE water..after they have chilled remove shell. Makes no difference if farm fresh or store bought..easy peel.
