These yummy fat bombs are essential if you are doing a ketogenic diet, I make them all the time!
Fat bombs are great when you are following a Ketogenic diet because they help you get your daily requirement of fat into your diet and they taste fantastic! They are low carb and contain no sugar.
I make these all the time and freeze them. They last in the freezer, unless you eat them all! These are a great snack and I will often eat 1-2 of these a day for a quick snack if I get hungry.
When I drink my Keto/os it curbs my appetite and I don’t usually get hungry much during the day. But when I feel I need a low carb snack that’s high in fat these are the perfect fit. They will fill you up because of the high fat content and satisfy that sweet craving you might have. Keto fat Bombs are a great addition to your Pruvit lifestyle.
I actually use Swerve in these instead of stevia but either is fine for a sweetener or you can even make these without any sweetener at all if you don’t like sweet foods. I enjoy them either way. This is my new favorite peanut butter cup. They taste almost the same as Reese’s peanut butter cups but without the sugar.
If you can’t find grass fed butter you can use regular butter. Why choose grass fed butter you may ask. This butter comes from cows that are only grass fed. Grass fed butter is much healthier butter and contains more omega 3 fatty acids then regular butter. Studies show that people who eat grass fed butter actually lower their chance of heart disease. Eating a diet that includes healthy fats is good for your health!

what is Stevia never heard that I’m in Canada
There is stevia in Canada, its in every food store in the natural food section. Just ask if you can’t find it.
Yes they have it, you can also get the Stevia drops in a bottle which are very handy when using it for make recipes
I live in New Brunswick, Canada and I buy my Stevia at WalMart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Save Easy or Sobeys and I usually find it in my Baking Aisle where all the other sugars are, but, sometimes it can be in with the Health Food Stuff. We also have “Swerve” and we are only a small town.
What is Swerve? Is it natural like stevia?
Asked this already but can’t tell if it showed up anywhere. (I’m new to posting in others sites). Anyway, haven’t heard of “swerve”. Is it a natural sweetener like stevia?
It’s a all natural sweetener! It’s all I use!
Can I use almond butter instead of peanut butter?
Yes
Thank you!
Do you just double the ingredients if you wanna make more then 4?
Hey, just passing through and read your comment. This recipe makes 12. I think 4 refers to 4 servings of 3 fat bombs. I would advise you to make 1 batch at a time so that you don’t end up eating more than 12 in 1 day! lol jk but these are so good.
Ahhh thanks! I was a lil concerned with the carb count of just 4! Lol
Chia seeds and flax would be a nice addition
Great, thank you! What are net carbs?

The whole batch makes 12?
yes it does
So you divide the numbers by 12? That’s like 6g of fat…?
How long do you freeze them
They will keep for quite a while in the freezer. You can just refrigerate them, but I find them much easier to handle when frozen.
Is this using unsweetened cocoa
Yes
Ok thanks is there any way to leave off the cocoa powder
You can use dark chocolate instead
Is there any to not use the cocoa
You can use dark chocolate instead
Did they use crunchy peanut butter?
Either is fine to use 🙂
I just put all ingredients into microwave for 30 seconds like it says and it exploded! 🙁
hmmmmmm something not right. Those ingredients don’t explode after only 30 sec
I didn’t have packets of stevia I have a large container of stevia powder I guessed how much 3 packets would be. Would that have done it?! Also the texture was more cake-like than liquid so I couldn’t ‘pour’ into the tins. Do you mix first or after the microwave? I’m not a great cook but this seems too easy for me to screw up that bad! I was able to muster up 8 mini tins of the solid batter and freeze. Guess I’ll just take total macros and divide by 8
If you over heat it the butter can explode. I have exploded butter tons of times in my microwave. I melted my butter first since it was harder than the rest, heated up the cream cheese/pb mixed with everything else, then combined them all. I agree it wasn’t pourable but I used a small cookie dough scoop and got it into 11 mini muffin cups.
These are just amazing. Me and the hubby love these. This will be a staple. I use cacao instead of cocoa.
Be careful about ingredients exploding in the microwave.
I’ve made this tons of times and it has never exploded in the microwave. If it does then you did something wrong lol
Any idea how many drops of stevia or granulated Swerve would equal “3 packets?”
Can I use eryithrol instead of stevia?
Yes, I’m not sure what the conversion would be or if it would just be the same amount though 😉
Do you have to be on a Keto diet to have these. I am dietetic and think these would be so good.
No, you don’t have to be on a keto diet to have these 🙂
Fun recipe. I added cocoa nibs and unsweetened shredded coconut for added crunch. All told, I calculated the carbs at 17 for the entire recipe…1.41 per fat bomb.
Is the butter salted or unsalted
If there are only 8g sugar, will you tell me where the additional carbs come from?
I’m still trying to figure this “low-carb” stuff out, so any info helps.
Thanks!
you wrote you use Swerve instead… how much do you use? I tried 1.5T and it was very bitter. I’m wondering also if it was too much cocoa powder…. seemed like a lot and mine was a lot darker in color than yours… makes me wonder if there was a typo? thanks
Also wondering how much to equal 3 packets. Thanks!
Just made these, did the double batch and was fudge like, not porable. I put 24 drops of liquid stevia and a tablespoon (heaping) of Swerve confectioners and 1/3 cup of coconut oil. Came to s more spreadable consistency. It made 17 portions. I topped them with pink sslt. In freezer now,. Can’t wait to try them.
how much stevia, I don’t have packets
if you’re using erythritol instead of the stevia, how much would you use? thanks so much, these look tasty! 🙂
I think you left out coconut oil.
I’ve seen your recipe before any it looks like you left out the coconut oil in this one
I used 1 1/2 tsp stevia. Also turned out fudgy and the cocoa was very overwhelming. Did you mean 3 tsp instead?
This is my fav fat bomb recipe. I make it every few days. I only use two tbsp of Cocoa so it’s not so dense.
It’s very cakey… does it need coconut oil?
