The best keto guacamole recipe you ever eaten! So easy and quick to make, it’s the perfect low carb snack!
Guacamole is made with avocados, which are one of my favorite keto snacks. Filled with healthy fats, avocados are great if you are following a ketogenic diet. I usually have some in the house to use in salads, spreads or guacamole. They give foods a really nice flavor and texture.
When you pick out a avocado at the store pick one that is dark or almost brown but not too dark. It also shouldn’t feel too firm. If you pick up some avocados that aren’t ripe simply put them in a brown paper bag on the counter for a few days to ripen. This works perfectly and after a few days your avocados will be ready to eat! Once they are ripe you can then store them in the fridge. Placing them in the fridge will halt the ripening and make them last longer once they are ripe.
Guacomole is super simple to make and very healthy. Its the perfect dip for your ketogenic lifestyle. There are so many ways you can eat with WITHOUT high carb chips! You can use it as a dip for pork rinds, cheese chips or veggies. You can also eat it on eggs, chicken or in a lettuce wrap. The possibilities are endless!
Feel free to add some extra spices to this if you wish. For a little extra spicy flavor you can add a jalepeno pepper. It tastes great with that added as it makes it extra spicy but not too hot.
I hope you enjoy this. I love making it and using it in wraps or as a yummy dip. Great for a party if you are trying to stick to your keto meal plan.
