How To Cook Bacon In The Oven (Easy Method)

I love bacon! Cooking bacon in the oven is so easy! Once you try this it will be your preferred method because it’s so simple!

Bacon Oven Cooked

I LOVE bacon but I hate cooking it! The solution is to cook or roast your bacon in the oven. If you haven’t tried this yet you really need to see for yourself how easy this is! It is so easy to just pop your bacon in the oven and then remove when cooked. No flipping, turning or anything involved. It turns out perfect every time! Nice and crispy and delicious! Full of amazing flavor!

I love cooking with bacon and I often use it in a lot of my ketogenic recipes. Bacon is low carb and Keto friendly and its definitely one of my favorite foods. In my opinion, everything tastes better with bacon!

A great recipe to try with bacon is Lettuce Bacon Wraps!

Be careful when taking out of the oven the grease can spill, make a mess and even burn you. I had this happen, turned on my oven cleaner and had a oven fire! I did get to speak with a nice fireman, so I guess it all turned out😆

I cook mine on a broiler pan. The grease goes below and is less likely to spill as they are usually a little deeper that a baking pan.

I use my broiler. Take the bacon out when cooked. Leave the broiler with the grease in the oven until cool. I put the grease in squirt bottle to use cooking eggs. Nothing will stick to bacon grease.

Put the bacon on a baking cooling rack placed on a cookie sheet or rimed baking sheet this will result in crispy bacon not sitting in the fat.

This is how my mom taught me to do this as well. The bacon is soggy or dripping in the grease…

The only way I cook bacon now, fast, simple, doesn’t make a mess on stovetop, just watch and cook to desired crispiness.

I just put it on top of my broiler pan with a little water on the bottom, and cooks nice and flat.

It sure makes a mess splashing grease all in the oven if you don’t cover it.
