Golden Corral Crab Salad
Ingredients
- 3 pounds imitation crab meat
- 1 cup chopped green onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing
- 1/2 cup heavy mayonnaise
Instructions
- Separate (by hand) the pieces of crab
- Put all ingredients together and mix well
- If it sets over night in the refrigerator the ingredients will blend

Imitation crab meat is high in carbs. It is made from potatoes and it is sweetened. There are 13gms of carbs in 3 oz. It would be much better to use REAL crab meat which has 0 carbs, 0 sugar and has lots of potassium.

If you are allergic to shell fish this is a great alternative. although I sure do miss the real thing.
Potatoes??? Not any I’ve ever tried. White fish is what imitation crab is made from.

Not sure what type of imitation crab meat Chris is referring to, however the kind I use is made from whitefish–normally Alaskan polluck–no potatoes content at all. It definately meets the list. Read the ingredients, and enjoy

Golden Corral uses the imitation crab meat instead of the real thing so try the real crab if you like but you won’t be eating the Golden Corral Crab Salad. And the imitation crab is just whitefish. No starches added.
